"Brother Columban", Diane and Linda Greenwood, reports Donna Gravelle, who was his friend and co-worker, at that time.

June 8, 1986 - LCDR Soto, CHC, performs burial at sea ceremony for William C. Swaithout, while USS Conyngham sails from Norfolk to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba for refresher training (REFTRA).
Easter, 1987 - LCDR Soto provides Catholic sermons for USS Conyngham and all other ships deployed to Karachi, Pakistan.
